Acclimation – take 2

Posted October 11th, 2008 under Baby Logic, Clara and Libby, Life, Puerto Rico by MicheleP.

Today we sat down to plan the girls 4th birthday (HOW can this be???) – we asked the girls what we needed for a party. They came up with just two things. Anyone want to guess at what they might be?

Balloons? Nope

Cake? Nope

Presents? Surprisingly, nope – didn’t EVEN mention presents.

For a successful party, evidently we just need two things:

1) Bug spray – “so the ‘squitos’ don’t bite anyone”

2) Germ lotion – “in case we get germs on our ‘selfes’”

And there you are – anyone want to come to our party?  ‘Cause it’s sure to be a ‘squito’ and germ free celebration.

LOL here! It seems they have your repulsion of mosquitoes…I’d gladly join in on the festivities! Can they really be 4 already? Seems like just yesterday I was looking at pictures of you with a pg belly, can of coke and m&ms…that was you right? Oh, boy am I now going senile?

It also means that you have made it through your first year here!!! Congrats!!!

I’ll pitch in with some extra cans of bug spray for their B-Day… I have a stockpile. Can’t stand the ’squitos’ either!

Too cute! Birthday plans are in high gear at our house too! Oh, how we will miss you guys at the celebration! Believe it or not, but the girls monkey invite is still hanging on our fridge. The boys just love it!
